It all started when…
Graduating film school in 1996, Mark sunk his teeth into his first directing job with the half hour short film THE ‘UNTITLED', starring Sean Chapman, Ronald Pickup and Norman Pace, which was picked up by ITV.
Staying in television Mark produced and directed CASANOVA’S LOVE LETTERS - a six part drama documentary starring Patrick Bergin and Armand Assante, and Movie Kingdom for the Discovery Network, shown around the world, and featuring a plethora of the world’s most famous Hollywood ‘A’ Listers.
In 2013 Mark’s first feature film was released, THE CRYPT, a supernatural horror.
In 2014 he followed up with his second film AWAITING, starring Tony Curran, Diana Vickers and Rupert Hill, wining best director and best picture awards at several international film festivals.
In 2016 he was asked to be a judge at the Fantasporto Film Festival in Porto.
Later that same year he wrote, directed and produced THE COMEDIAN’S GUIDE TO SURVIVAL, a comedy shot in the UK and Canada, starring James Buckley, Paul Kaye, Omid Djalili, Gilbert Gottfired, Kevin Eldon, Mark Heap, Jimmy Carr and several more well known comedians from the international scene.
In 2017 he shot FOR LOVE OR MONEY - AN UNROMANTIC COMEDY, starring Rob Kazinsky, Samantha Barks, Rachel Hurd-Wood, Tony Kaye, Anna Chancellor and Ed Speleers. This was picked up by Myriad Pictures in the US, released across the globe in cinemas and on Netflix in the States.
In 2022 production will start on his next project, a two part comedy film.
